Default Great RV park in Co

We are staying in Pagosa Springs, Co at www.wolfcreekrun.net whose owner has a H-3 Vantare and summers here and winters in Long Key Fl. I gave him a POG flyer and hope he joins. This is a beautiful RV park!!!! I will try to attach a picture showing how cool it is up the hill. Weather is great about 45 at night and 80 during the day. Come on Up!!! Dan & Jo

I second the nomination. Spent a week there last summer. Extremely coach friendly along with a gregarious owner who throws a great steak fry.

    Dan,

We stayed there when he first opened the park a few years ago. If I remember his name is Johnny Brown. The park is beautiful but small, about 27 sites right on the river. Check out the hot springs in town they are awesome. Enjoy!

Ah, I see why you go there. Just poke the wine bottle in the snow!

We were there in the summer of 2005 and the town was one of our highlights of the trip. Tuga's right. You have to do the Springs in town.

The park adjoins the San Juan River which makes for great scenery and tubing.

Dan, Ask the owner is he's still sporting the Mango Mike's cap.

    More Pixs from the Park.

We have also stayed @ Wolf Creek Run. The owner, John took Rhonda, Taylor, and I along with another couple staying at the park out to dinner @ his daughters restaurant. What a great guy, he would meet us @ the bus every morning with fresh croissants. He owned a very large trucking company, and I truly think he built the park just to make more friends. I heard he was having some health issues, I hope that isn't the case. We had an interesting drive from Tiger Run in Breckenridge to Wolf Creek. One of the passes was over 11K feet, and then up and over Wolf Creek pass. It is really some pretty scenery.
