Default Water pump leak / replace with copper pipes

One of the two water pumps has a cooper crimp clamp that is leaking. I will have Buddy Greg fix this while we are in Knoxville this week.

Is is possible to replace the plastic piping with copper? There does not seem to be that much piping.

Can a regular plumber do this?

Lloyd, if you happen to be at a home depot, they have a fitting called Shark Bite. It will join pex, cpvc or copper. They make repairs really easy.

Depending on the pumps you are using, it would be nice to see some pex, or flex tube going in and coming out of the pumps so the pumps vibration doesn't shake your plumbing or work on your pumps.

Great suggestion, forgot about the vibration. Flex to cooper would work, I think. Thanks
