Well we have arrived at the rest area exit 413 on I-75 after a quick detour to Steak & Shake (we don't have these in Houston). Spoke to Jon and he is 40 miles north of us at the welcome center, so we are going to hook up in the morning for some formation flying into Polk City.

Mango didn't leave DC until rush hour, so he said he would drive until midnight and go from there. Ken & Ellen are MIA somewhere on I-95. We should hit the campground around 10.

$2.75 diesel in Gulfport and $2.85 just west of Lake City.

    Default Off to the Rally

Jon comes by to seine us up at the rest stop and promptly drives us into the fog..

Then we hear that Ken & Ellen are "smoking" it down from Virginia and we have the appropriate equipment waiting for them at the park.

Mr. Anal no more sets the brakes then he gets his cleaning stuff out.

We heard Lew was about here, but then we found out where he spends all his time. He just needed a few items.

Naked Lady mud flaps on a Prevost? Lew is an original.

Great time at the rally. More about that later. Thanks to all who helped set it up. We pulled out around 6:30am and Jon was warming up to pull out as we did.

Couldn't sleep and was up at 4 AM.

I didn't hear anyone leave so you guys escaped before some of us could bid you farewell

So...FAREWELL and have safe trips. I now know who the guys are that are harrassing me.

Good times were had by all and it was a pleasure to meet all.

We left at 8:30 and were home at 11:30. Of course swaying along the highway with the the Mad Prevost.

I dug the weights out of the coach and will present them to anyone who will look at the coach. I am spooked by Jacksonville but I have no other alternative at this time. I'll have to stick to my guns on them guessing what is wrong.

    Default Houston or Bust

Pulled into Houston at 9:30pm after a stop in Louisiana for boiled crawfish and lamb fries. 2004 miles round trip and I-10 still sucks from Lake Charles to Orange.

There was a Mango sized thunderstorm we drove thru for about an hour, but other than the occasional wreck, it was pretty smooth.

We can unload the coach tomorrow..........

We rolled at 6:50 AM and backed in the garage at 6:50 PM. POG #1 was BY FAR the best bus rally we ever attended.

We not only met a bunch of great folks, but the knowledge gained is priceless.

Where and when is the next one?????????

    Default Pog #!

Thanks to everyone for a great time. I got many times over what I invested back in information and entertainment, plus the food was the best. Jerry and Jon cook great steaks, and Mango Mikes has got the best crabcakes and crab mayonaise ever.

Special thanks to Jeff, Helen, and Jim for puttting together a great group of people and having the talent and personalty to make it all happen.

For those who did not get a chance to attend we had the best!! The most informative hands on seminars I have ever attended. If you enjoy the ownership of a Prevost, and are like me wanting to know how to take care of it yourself, then by all means be at the next Rally!!

Micki and I pulled out around 10ish and olde webasto Mike being the trooper he really is, was washing his bus. We tooted around on the way back and about 8pm we decided to head home arriving in East Tn at 1am Sunday at 51 degrees.burrr!!

Everyone was great and thanks for a great time!!

Default R. Foster - Man, Myth, Legend

Roger Foster - The only man at the POG rally who sucessfully combined business with pleasure. I have coach and business envy. And he has a sassy wife to boot. No wonder he drives a Mini Cooper.....

I hope she works you like a borrowed mule this week. We sure enjoyed visiting with you guys and especially the coach tour. I am already looking for one of those radios....
