    Default Phoenix/Tucson AZ

We will be heading to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area at the end of the week and then heading on to Tucson. It would appear that many of the nicer parks are 55 and over. This is a bit of a problem as our two little rascals are persona non grata at these spots. It occurred to me as I was writing this that Sarah and I are also not welcome!

Does anyone know of any decent parks in these areas that would welcome us?

    Many thanks.

We use the Valley of the Sun RV Park in Peoria, AZ on 8955 NW Grand just a short way from 101 & Grand.
RV Park is in back of Ramada hotel. Phone 623-979-7200
We'll be there Friday Dec 14th for one night.

    Also, Beaudry RV in Tucson.

    Good Luck

AJ, We stayed in Casa Grande at www.campgroundbuenatierra.com for 3 days while at the Bondurant racing school in Phoenix. Just about 30 miles S on #10 at exit #198. Simple and inexpensive. NO ASPHALT !! Dirt roads and sites. 7 1/2 MPH speed limit throughout the park to keep the dust down. It "worked" for our short stay.

    Mango,

We have stayed in a very nice smaller RV Park in Tempe. Its called www.apachepalmsrvpark.com. They are big rig friendly, have wifi and lemons trees around with real lemons on it. 480-966-7399. We had our former Mararthon XLII coach there before going into the Barrett/Jackson auction.
