    Default Power Cords

I'm lookin at this great big camper and I was wondering? Do you think I will have any trouble finding power?

What can someone tell me about this. Is it something that is commonly used? Where might be a good place to find a market for something used like this?

Hi Joe. The pin sleeve Male cap looks like 50 amp three phase , 4 wire with ground( 600v). The transformer is a 30 kva which means there is a capacity of about 90 amps @ 120/208volt when powered by a 480 volt source.
These are used for many purposes. With the cord it looks like something portable was used like a lathe, Table saw, of a special piece of custom equipment.

    Gary sorry for stupid questions.

Do you think there is a market for something used like this, and where?

How often does one have 480 coming in and need an transformer like that?

The Gen. is also 480, 60K John Deer powered.

There is also a couple of HUGE A/C units. I am going to need a ladder to get the particulars on these.

480 volt is used in most industrial, large commercial, Retail, and institutional buildings. Transformers are used all the time to reduce the voltage for standard usage like power for recepticles and small equipment.
Generators can be use for stand-by power at buisness and temporary construction sites.

It's Christmas Lew. Old fashion Christmas.

From what I have been observing many convert that stuff into palm trees when they retire.

Our 2 smallest grand-children 1,1/2 and 3 are up from Winchester, Tenn. and have never seen more than a dusting.
It's right around freezing, it's great packin snow and we are gonna build us a SNOWMAN today.
