    Hi Judi,

If you're hearing fans, I'm assuming they are the fans inside the bus. Can you walk around to the rear of the bus (usually the location of the Webasto) and with the engine off and the switch on for the Webasto see if you can hear anything.

Typically the Webasto will try to start, (if it has electricity) but if it doesn't see any flame in the burner it will shut down to prevent over saturating the burner with fuel. It would be nice to know if at least it was trying to start in that 2 minute period.

I'm not familiar with Vancouver, but if you have a sizeable Marina around you, they are used to working on the Webasto (or AquaHot - which is basically the same thing.)

We never tried it till now, we did not get very good manuals for it and has been a learning period. We are new to this board and finding it more helpful
than others we have used. Judi
Judi, to supplement the manuals you didn't receive with your bus purchase, click on Quick Links, click on POG Home, and at the home page on the left click on articles there are three pages of info that will help you a lot to get a hold on what you have.

Judi: I also would like to add to the info here that the webasto heat is not instant. The water supply has to heat up from the furnace before you feel the heat. Only if the coach engine is up to operating temperature are you going to feel heat from your heat exchangers.

    Good Luck.

Hi Roger. Mine only takes 5 minutes to feel the heat after I start the Webasto. That is from stone cold including engine.

Roger, Mine heats up faster than that. I can name that tune in 4 minutes and 45 seconds.
