With all the discussion on tires aging out instead of wearing out I started to look for data on the topic and came across this article by Goodyear engineering:

There are several technical facts according to Goodyear that I was not aware of and found very interesting!

I wish they would put dates on stuff like this to help with validity and timeliness.

As an aside.
I drove OV-10s for a while. We would use the tires until five cords could be seen.

Coral runways, like Roosevelt Roads, PR, could destroy a tire in a few day's operations.
