Bill I thought this photo was a bit dark, so took it into photoshop and lightened it a little so you could see it better, hope you don't mind.
thanks, dale!! looks great. i was asking bill to look at the pics because on my mac they look fine, but when i opened it up here on the pc, they look really dark. i think i need to go back and grab them off of picasa and do the same to the others. any thoughts on why?
is my mac calibration off?

Mac monitors are generally set at a different gamma than PC monitors (that's not 100% true, but generally true).

FYI, I'm not sure that's everything here. The original image seems WAY too dark, even on my Mac monitors. More than I would have expected with the gamma difference between PC and Mac.
