    Default New Trouble Posting Pictures

For some reason that I can't figure out I can not post most pics. In fact there are some pics. that I've had on file for quite a while that it will not accept but a few will still download?

I go to manage attatchments and that screen comes up then I brouse a chosen file and select then hit download and it gives me that-this page can not be displayed bull.

If someone would like to help please call me 708 243 7871, call me anytime 24-7 I would welcome the assistance. As far as I know I have aletered no settings on either the camera, computer or club site.

    Thank you.

Joe, have you posted since the new server? try adjusting the size to 4"X6"X72dpi and saving a copy in your pog folder. Doesn't have to be the exact size as I said above.

I tried to upload a big photo and it didn't work. try to reduce your photos to somewhere close to the above.

    Ihank you.
Joe, I had the same problem trying to post Truk's escape/spy plane After two days of trying, I found that I had to downsize the photo to under 50kb's before the upload would be accepted. Not sure of the actual measurements but maybe someone else can give those?

    Joe,

This is what the contro l panel tells me for attachments.

    FILE TYPE then image size:
    bmp 620x280
    gif 620x280
    jpe 620v280
    jpeg 6000x6000 careful
    jpg 6000x6000 careful
    png 620x 280

These are the file types and sizes. Let me know if you are still have trouble.

Default Test to see fairly large image

OK, here's a fairly large image. Jim, note when I uploaded I got the following error in the manage attachments window.

    DSCF0382.jpg:
Thumbnail creation failed due to insufficient memory.

Seems to have worked for me, but sorry, that file was a little larger than I expected!

Default One more test with smaller image ....

And not specifying the attachment directly in the post. This should automatically put a thumbnail below this text (I hope).

ps: surprise, it put the full image in, rather than a thumbnail. Learned something.
