Friend had a small leak in the dash air that he chased for almost a year. Turns out it was a slow leak on the compressor shaft seal. Found it by using a ultraviolet light and saw small speckles all around the compressor clutch.

Dye was installed in the system and provided the speckles by the compressor clutch that could be seen by the UV light. Sniffer never indicated a leak at the seal and dye was not enough to see without the UV light.
