Default Storing a spare Curisair unit

Got a used working Cruisair unit from another Prevost owner and plan on keeping as a spare. When removed the electrical and freon lines were cut.
Should I vacuum down the unit and cap it off for proper storage or just leave as is and worry about the vacuuming down when and if I need it?

Chuck suck it down and store it charged with freon thats how they send it. Thats how youll need it in a pinch too.

I know somebody that plucked a couple condensing units out of the dumpster at Liberty when he was there then fixed them swapped one out when he needed it then when he traded for a newer bus Liberty got it back LOL.

    Joe:
Thanks for the input. Will suck it down BUT, can't find R22. Could I just vacuum it down for now or put some other gas in just for storage?
