I just registered my Prevost in South Carolina and the DMV gave me a “property carrying tag”
a P plate for $3500/2 years. They said it was because it weighed 42,000 lbs.
Is the DMV correct?
Thanks for any feedback.

Is a commercial plate of any kind?
Thanks,
Rick
The P plate allows you to park in commercial loading/unloading zones and you paid a premium for that privilege.
I read about the parking/unloading perk but do I have a choice? If given the choice I would pass and opt for something cheaper. Is there a different tag for an recreational vehicle weighing over 40,000 lbs?
