    Default Simple Equalizer Test

Many see the equalizer as mysterious box with some unknown purpose. They just know it has some potential involvement in lighting the "Battery", "Hi/Lo", "Balance", or unlabeled red warning lights. There's no need to get it. You just need to know how to do this simple test with your trusty digital voltmeter.

Thanks Gil that is a mysterious box and on my list to study, my Bus shows 2 in the documentation, but only has 1 now. The wall where the one is mounted you can clearly see an outline of the second one but it was removed at some point.

Joe, this test method takes all the math out. BTW, you'll see that the 24V reading can be just above twice the 12V reading but never less.
