Default The More Slides the Merrier!

Heard today, that in August 2007, Marathon will complete Coach #1119. It will be a 3 slide "H", with two salon slides and a bedroom slide. Then in October, Coach #1123 will be a 4 slide "H". Can't wait to hear how much weight is on the front axle of these babies!

It won't be over 20000lbs, thats max. legal . I'm sure it will be right there though.

Our little 40 at 42000lb is lookin nicer and nicer every year in those terms.

    Joe,

I know what you're saying. Our front axle is right at 17,100lbs. Our former coach, Marathon Coach #740, Single Slide XLII 2002, had a front axle weight of 17,580lbs. I am glad we are just under on our current coach.

I don't know why Marathon has insisted on their bay arrangement for all these years. That contributes to their front heavy condition.

    Default 3 slide H

Just had a 3 slide H pull into the lot across from me. One livingroom slide and two bedroom slides.

    Very nice H, from Wyoming.
