Default Sleep Number Queen mattress for a Prevost XLII

We are purchasing a “new to us” Prevost XLII Liberty Classic coach (will be viewing a couple to make our final choice within the next week).
Not sure what type of mattresses are typically on these coaches - but, hoping someone can let us know whether Sleep Number (or, something very similar) manufactures a Queen size mattress that will work on a North/South 2001-2004 XLII bed?
Believe “Queen” size actually means a little shorter and probably rounded at the bottom?
Again, we have yet to see either coach to take measurements, template, etc. Just wondering if anyone has done this already? And, if so, from where did you purchase?

When we asked at our local retail Sleep Number store they had never heard of this before...then again, they didn’t know what a Prevost was either. 😎

Not yet sure whether the dealership will be replacing the mattress and bedding with our purchase (is this an unusual request we’re making...wouldn’t think it’s unreasonable)?

But, figured even if they replace the existing (how many years old?) mattress with a flat standard...maybe we could pay the difference to upgrade to a Sleep Number mattress - if there is such an animal in the Prevost world? Yes, we realize the mattress won’t be able to split/raise as the Prevost Liberty platform is built in. But, being able to set individual firmness and temperature will make for a more comfortable night’s sleep. Then again, maybe all this is just a pipe “dream?” 🤣

    Thank you all...

My sister had a sleep number in her Tiffan and it sprung a leak. The cost to fix it was almost what a new mattress cost. They chucked it and went with a more conventional matress.

There were too many different bed shapes and sizes used over the years. Short queens, Jr kings, radius cut ends. Bring a tape measure with you.

Great feedback! Besides if our Husky jumps up...it could spell the end of that bed. Guess we’ll just wait to see what the dealership says (whether they will at least agree to provide a new mattress)? Thank you!

I dont think the dealer is going to loose u over this issue if u press them enough on it.

Hold your ground. Covid seems to be the current reason for everything bad try that.

    Joe:
Think we could find a way to blame air leaks and leans on Covid and get government funding to repair?

We had a Sleep Number bed in a previous coach. Went from Nashville to Albuquerque. The altitude change caused the air chambers to blow out. Threw everything in the dumpster at Sam's Club and installed a pillow top mattress. We were fortunate that our bedroom configuration allowed a standard size queen. Liked the pillow top mattress much, much better.
