IDEAS ?
Maybe we can have a get together at the Austin Rally for West Coasters to talk about it.
I liked getting together in Palm Desert last year! Kicked back and fun!
Gary, good idea for a meeting at the X rally and, those of us unable to attend can still post suggestions and ideas here on the forum.
Sid, that was a good time last year and a great Park but, maybe a different venue would also be fun-----Lazy Days has taken over the old Beaudry Rally Park in Tucson, how about there? Maybe catch some Spring Training, visit the Air Museum, etc.
So, did the Westies get together at POG 10? Any further thoughts on a mid-winter rally? Did anyone ask Lazy Days about rally rates etc on the way home?
We did. Lazy days is very anxious to have us. Is there anyone who wants to lead this?
HarborBus and LarryB will step up to work on the Rally unless, there is someone already working on the Rally or just itching to lead, in that case---you got it.
We would need to start with the number of attendees, dates and location. Suggestions thus far are; Lazy days Rally Park Tucson,AZ in mid Feb. for a 3 day event.
OK, speak with Nevelle Proud at Lazy Days, 520 741 2219 ext.#6701. Typically, there are 15 or so Coaches but I would start a head count.
Also, speak with Ray Davis .
We'll be in Mesa during February. A trip to Tucson would be lots of fun. Please add us to the list!
Audrey and I will try to make a late February run to Tucson from Long Beach. Let us know!
Richard-I hope you will be coming to the BIG "T" this weekend. Tuscaloosa that is!!!! Roll Tide Roll!!!
I'm not coming to T-town but I'll have
12 of your heathen fans at my house this weekend watching the game on the theater's big screen. Twelve to one (including my wife) but I'm up to the challenge. Go Vols! Wish that I was on old rocky top.....
We Make a Tucson stay sometime in JAN, FEB, or MAR. each year. Count us in when you get a date firmed up. Our plans this year would be a stay @ Lazy Days.
I'll put it down on my calender as well.
Chris and I are in, and will be bringing Chris' mom again. She had a great time last year at Motocoach country Club visiting with everyone. By Feb, she will have adjusted to her new eyes. One down, one cataract to go. She says the colors she sees with the new eye are vivid and bright. She can't wait to see the surgeon again next week, she says.
Good for Chris' mom, I know it must be great to see all in natural color again! My wife had laser surgery on her eyes a couple years ago. After the bandages were removed we were sitting on the back porch, and I noticed she was crying. I ask was she okay, and she said she was just so happy, she could see the pine needles on the pine trees for the first time.
So far we all seem to be avoiding the subject of a date. How does Feb. 24th-26th sound?
Brian, Feb 24th-26th work for us................
Those dates work for us as well!
Brian, Thanks, 2/24-26 is good with us as well.
A soon as we decide on the length of time for the rally, I'll post prices.
Feb 24-26 works for us, but that is a long ways away.
It's looking good for us also.

Goodie!! Beaver Bus 25 and 34!! We can have mini B.O.G. GMC Buffalo has found one more Beaver Bus for our spreadsheet. The count is 23 out of 33 identified, and contacted. but there is another count going on. Bus 3, 33, 28 and now 23 are for sale. The owner of Bus 23, Dan Burns of Washoe Valley Nevada wants to sell the bus and buy a 1937 Lasalle.
Thanks for posting the count, Rally Master.
If everyone is OK with a 3 day event, at the Rally Master's direction, I will contact Lazy Days for Info and a price. Early reservations should allow for parking as a group instead of being spread out through out the park.
You must be talking to yourself "Rally Master". I think your confused (that's OK it comes with old age, nothing to be ashamed of) your assistant posted the count............
Count Kathy and I in as well. I'll double check the dates, but those should be fine.
FYI we stopped at Lazydays both on the way to Austin, and on the way back. Neville Proud remembered us from three years prior when they hosted a steak and lobster dinner for us as we went to Kerrville. There were about 7 coaches then, as I remember. He still thinks we are part of the Prevost Prouds.
Anyway, they would love to host us. Neville took Kathy and I around in a golf cart, and showed us all he's got going on there. I guess Lazydays has some bucks!
On the way back from Austin, we stopped in again, and Neville comped the nights stay for all three of us.
Ray
Any updates of this event? Should we start calling and reserving sites?
Rhonda & I will likely be able to attend.
The Rally Master is dealing with family matters so in his stead, I will post what is known to date about the WCMR.

Just made our reservation, online.
Made mine today, the gal on the phones wasn't sure about the $29.95, stated 39.95.
So Greg, what was the outcome?
I have a call into Nevelle at Lazy days about the price but, seems everything is done by voice mail these days---waiting for a return call.
I talked to Vicky and she said that Neville who was not there may have a price that she didn't know about? I check in for 5 days and will see what Neville has to say later. 39.95 is not bad either way.
Here's the latest information from your Rally Master Larry Beer. Larry spoke with Nevelle today and confirmed that the price is indeed $29.95 per night. There are 4 woman there that answer the phone and if they quote you $39.95 or anything different than the $29.95 then refer them to Nevelle for the correct information. Be sure and specify that you are with POG and if they don't understand that tell them Prevost Owners Group. More information to come later.
Larry,
Let me know what you need on my end. I would love to provide POG hats and T-shirts and promote it as much as I can!
Thanks for the offer Jim, I'll get in touch with the Rally Master and see what we need, I'll go out on a limb here and suggest maybe you could just give us your credit card number, that would simplify things.
