Hi Ray. I will go either day.
Ray, Evy and I are in for breakfast either Saturday or Sunday, again thanks for all your hard work on this.
Elliott & Evy McLeod
Count us in, breakfast and party.
Interesting think happened Tuesday morning. We were pulling out of state line on the way to the resort in Las Vegas and who rolls by us by Warren (Jello Jeep) Holm's. A few seconds later the phone rings, wanting us to stop and chat at Jean which we did.
I am not sure but I believe that Warren may have been on a recon mission. He might be working on a plan to prank us at the rally.
We three are in for both. Either day for breakfast. Thank you so much for all of your work on this Ray.
Hi Ray
Thanks for your work heading up this much valuede event. Count Shirley & I in on the works, VT party, breakfast and show, the works. Count me in for any work parties required.
If you need any help with anything I'm available. Scott is injured right now so it would be just me. Let me know when and where and I'll do my best to be there. (Scott and JJ are still coming but to visit and party all weekend only. He can't do much else with his injury)
Cyndie
Ray,
Count us in for breakfast either day. Thanks
Ray,
Sandy and I will attend breakfast either day. Count us in for Saturday evening also.
Thanks for your work on this.
Larry
Thanks everyone, looks like we're going to have a great turnout. I'm going to suggest we make our POG breakfast on Saturday AM. For those interested, we can also do breakfast on Sunday on our own. I'm working with the owners to see what we can do about special pricing.
OK, let's plan on breakfast at 8AM on Saturday, Feb 12th. IF some want to head over for coffee a bit earlier, I think we can handle that!
I've notified LVMCR that almost everyone will be attending the valentines party.
I received some information on shows, but there are hundreds of shows in Vegas, at all price ranges. I'm going to suggest that we just network with each other, and perhaps some would like to group together to go do a show.
Ray
I had a vendor comp me tickets for Chris Angel at the Luxor. We were amazed at how pitiful the show was. I fell asleep during one part couldn't wait for it to end. The only good thing was the fact that the tickets didn't cost me anything. Even then I was trying to fiqure out how I could get my vendors money back.
I had seen several of their music videos with various artists which I enjoyed and I guess I was expecting more.
To me their Vegas show seemed very dated and juvenile and I was very disappointed even though I was chosen to participate in one of their skits.
We should have gone to another of the Cirque de Soleil shows instead.
Ray:
Marilyn and I are in for everything.
Brent
OHoh go see La Reve. It is what Cirque de Soleil's "O" was supposed to be like. It's in a round theater, looks like a funnel and not one bad seat. But . we recommend sitting higher up so when they drop out of the ceiling you can see the performers.
Here's some details:
Valentine Dinner Party
Guest and Owners are welcome to attend with your sweetheart this Valentine Dinner Party. Cocktails and hors d' ores at 5:30 with Dinner at 6:00. The Tommy Thompson Project Band will be the entertainment for the evening with dinner music from 6 to 7:00pm and then dance music from 7 to 10:00pm.
Al & Judy-
That sounds great. How dressed up or down should we be?
A suit and tie is customary at all POG dinners. No tie is required for breakfasts.
Jon, Don't be giving Scott a hard time. We might be calling him with " seal installation questions shortly "
Oops! Scuza me!
Scott, if your jeans are reasonably clean you are dressed for a POG event.
What's the fee for the Event? I have not heard much about the particulars.
Is it a Pot Luck?
Gary, I think it was mentioned here. I know it's been mentioned probably earlier in the thread.
No fee.
It's a Valentines Party sponsored by the resort, with dinner and open bar.
We POG members have a pot luck the preceeding night on Feb 12th.

It's not specifically mentioned there, but I was told it's open bar ....
Well, it looks like we're going to catch a break!
There is no rain in the 10 day forecast for Las Vegas during our schedule stay. Worst is 20% possibility on Thursday, heading to 0 % on Sunday. So, looks like w should have a nice weekend, temps in the low 60's during the days, and low 40's in the evenings. (Make sure your webastos are tested and ready to go!)
Looking forward to seeing everyone next week. Mike Simmons and I will be arriving together on Thursday afternoon.
Ray
You may have received an email with this info, but if not, the Elements Spa in Las Vegas has created a special for us on Valentines weekend.

Wondering if anyone is attending the rally that might be traveling from the East? I am coming from Dallas and I am trying to decide if its better to take the southern route on Interstate 20 to 10 then through El Paso or going North to Int. 40 and possibly hitting poor weather(snow). I realize that I will be adding a few hours with the southern route however being a new Prevost owner, hense new driver, snow don't sound good!!!!!! Any ideas short of staying home:)?
Current weather forecast is for snow in Flagstaff on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday look to be good currently.
As you've indicated, it's about 2 hours longer via I-10, but you do stay a lot lower in elevation.
My take. If you are bold, I would venture that I-40 is generally cleared very fast in case of snow. I've never had a problem going through there, but, I've never gone through in February either.
But, as a new Prevost owner, take the southern route, enjoy the drive, and not worry about it. IT's only 10% longer that way, and it's fun to drive the coach!
Ray
Patrick, take the southern route, you don't want to go over Flagstaff if snow is in the forecast. Don't let that stop you from coming it's going to be alot of fun. Brent Hicks and I are meeting at the Flying J in Barstow at noon on Friday if anybody wants to meet up.
Are you there yet Ray? Were driving as we speak.
Hi All,
Being new to this sort of mini rally, I have no idea how it works. Is there any sort of plan or schedule?
