Not a problem Steve there are 20 space blocked out for us............
OK for breakfast & potluck.
Elliott,
Sorry to say, but we won't be able to make it. The Dr's have scheduled a sleep study with Mr. Sandman on the 28th.
Jim, We could do a sleep study on you if you would like.................Sorry to hear you can't make it. We'll see you in Vegas.
Here is the latest on arrangements for the Tucson mini-rally. I talked with Nevell at Lazy Days today and, there seems to be a problem with using one of the Park's rooms for a Pot Luck. No food or booze allowed in there facilities except for that purchased from them.
Nevell has offered a room with tables set and a waiter plus a portable bar for our use if we order from the restaurant's menu and have it served to us in the room. Each person would be responsible for the cost of their food and drink, the room and waiter would be covered by Nevell.
Nevell has also offered to buy one breakfast and, Jim Skiff will also buy one breakfast for the group.
For those of you that have further questions should feel free to contact Elliott or myself. Hope to see you there.
Larry & Teddy will be arriving late to the rally but Elliott will be at the park a couple of days in advance to help get everyone settled in and finalize the dates and times of the meals with the Park.
It goes without saying that All are welcome to join us, if you get a notion to come to Tucson.
Hi Larry. Breakfast sounds great to me. We can have a potluck at any one of our Coaches with a couple of portable tables. The weather should be good. Ill offer my Coach and I can bring a couple of portable tables, I believe there is one table at each site as well. That way we can do our own thing.
We just signed up yesterday. God willing, we will see everyone on Friday.
This is from the "better half" of the Hoffmans in Fountain Hills.
Potluck--assume on Saturday night--sounds great, great.
If that is the decision--and, we like this idea--please, please get back to all of us a.s.a.p. as it will be us "Prevost Ladies" who have to make sure that we arrive with what we need to put on the potluck table.
Can't wait--BTW, the park has been totally redone by the new owners and is really much, much nicer than before.
Maria Hoffman
Gary, sorry for the tardiness of this reply but we are in service and I don't always have my computer readily available.
If you would rather have a pot luck as opposed to the menu based event in one of the Park's meeting rooms, one thing to consider, the weather report I'm reading calls for rather chilly temps and wind for the evening hours on Sat.
I for one am embarrassed that none of us "corporate decision makers" has had the courtesy to answer Ray's better half. Just guessing but the logjam may be occurring because there are some who are not enthused about cooking for a potluck. Since our wives are usually the worker bees in a potluck gig, I suggest the ladies have a quick straw vote on potluck vs no.
Beverly is voting for potluck, but she warns it may come from Costco.
Incidentally, my weather check is for clear skies and a high of 79f for Tucson on Saturday.
I say Pot Luck. If the weather won't co operate then we can always go inside to two or three coaches, lets try it.
Brian, the weather I checked was during Sat. evening.
As for posting some further info, I think the meal planning was going to take place once folks arrive, seems few care to post their desires here.

My last was not complete, sorry.
As stated in previous postings, Elliott will be in touch with everyone at the beginning of the rally and will be able to determine the direction the Dinner will take.
I for one, was not ignoring Ray's "better half", my apologies to her if she feels that way. We were waiting to get a feel for what the group wanted.
Sorry, but we’ll not be attending the rally. Sadly, we had to have our 14 y/o Beagle and numberone traveling companion laid to rest this morning. It will take a while for Penny and me to getover the loss of our faithful furry friend.
Penny & Dallas
I am So Sorry to hear that!
That is such a bummer.
We lost our " Princess " this summer and it is hard! Please just try to remember the Great Times and hopefully it will get a little easier as time goes on.
There is nothing like a Great Pet!!
Jamie
Dallas, Were so sorry to hear about a member of you family passing. You'll be missed at the rally it's a nice park. We'll catch you next time.
OOPS!! I"m sorry to be checking back in again so late. Shirley & I will dedfinately be here for the rally. We have been here @ Lazydays Tucson since Jan. 29. Tucson is our second home as we both went to school here and were married here 65 years ago. We visit here almost every winter for at least a month. We will let the office know were part of the rally. We are in space 1515 and please contact us for any help we can provide.
We will take part in a potluck and breakfasts as they are decided. The food at the resturant is very good for dinner. They only offer a buffet breakfast and it's so so and a lunch, we hve not had. You will like the park, lots of space with table and chairs at each patio. They have replaced the electrical hookups and they all work now.
Yes there is a large Air force & Navy storage facility at Davis Monthan AFB. They also have a very good Pima Air Museum with examples of allmost every thing that flew during the wars.
Harry
Todays weather was real nice 75 degrees and it is expected to hold through the weekend. No bus washing on site, but I'll check the truck stop on one offramp east on 10.
Call my cell if I can help you in any way. 530-277-5534
Harry, Good to know your already here. I checked in on the 22nd and I'm in 1321. I have put together a preliminary agenda but it is pretty flexible, we'll pass those out when everyone arrives by Friday afternoon and make any changes at that time. We weren't able to get Nevell to commit on the washing issue, now I understand why, they have a strict regulation against it. I have arranged the bus washing, it is $1.50 a foot and they hand wash with RO water and hand dry. I have a flyer for them as well that we will pass out. I am having our coach washed today so I'll see what kind of job they do and report here.
Hey Elloitt,
Glad your having good weather. We had hurricane force winds off the foothills yesterday and into the night with warm 60 degree air warmed up by the winds. IF we had tried to leave yesterday we couldn't. I-25 was closed south to New Mexico due to high winds, no high profile vehicles allowed.
Today, we have 7 inches of snow, temps in the 30's, and now we must deal with a large branch that came down last night and hit the house.
Have fun for us.
All,
Unfortunately Sandy and Larry will have to cancel on this gathering.
We have a new grand daughter that had a very difficult time arriving into this world and We need to stay and help the parents.
Look forward to seeing you all in Las Vegas.
Hey, Jim & Chris, nothing beats the weather in Colorado like Feb-Mar-April, eh?
Ya Roger,
We have almost tied having the snowiest February since 1912. We have two more inches to go to get 22 inches for the month to match the 1912 record.
The winds were absolutely outrageous. Car windows being blown out in Golden, tree limbs air-born, gravel from highway shoulders blowing into car windshield while on the Interstate (mine), semis travel trailers including an airstream and other high profile vehicles tipping over, and now cold an snow. Castle Rock got almost a foot.
Steamboat has had 10 feet since the 1st of the month.
Deep powder skiing breaks at your shoulders. Wow!!
The coach is trapped in the garage with snowpiles we don't have room for.
Jim, don't despair! Summer is fair...I remember when still working recording like 98" of snow over the last weekend of that year for the Ski Train to run and I was the designated person to have to call them to refuse them to leave Denver, we could not safely offer them passage to Winter Park and return. We were running multiple engine units with plows & blowers just trying to keep from "loosing" the ability to run trains after the snow quit. Some pretty big snowfalls. Glad we're not at Monument right now, I can imagine what they have at 7500' !!!! Be safe in all that, our kids/grandkids are doing it also.
Congratulation on the arrival of you new grand daughter, hope all is well with the mother. Sorry you can't make it to the rally but first things first, see you in Las Vegas.
