Joe is correct that not all 3406 are E engines. I assumed it might be an E from the year you mentioned. That would be a rare beast. The install into that coach would be suspect. The Detroit engine is the way to go for these conversions. Solid as a rock. Excellent fuel mileage.

I'm well aware Prevost won't help with the engine, but there are a lot of diesel mechanics well acquainted with the engine. So far it runs great.
