Skiffer, I reserved and paid for the Boothbay and Bar Harbor sites. I'm informing you as per step two of your instructions. I like Lobstah as much as I like oysters. I hope Maine has a lot of them set aside for me.

Business is slow so I had time to register at Narrows Too. Called 207 667 4300 and talked to Jeanna. Said she didn't know Jim Skiff and never heard of POG. I convinced her I was telling the truth so she put me on hold to call someone else. Short wait. She told me to call Laura at 207 288 8106. Laura took my information and credit card # so I think we are in at this location also. Easy as 1,2.
I called and they could not understand me, nor could I understand them. So I did it with sign language. I am in.
Dan & Jo are booked and ready. Like Roger said they speak a little different than us folks!
Jennifer and I are booked. Jean immediately asked if I was with Prevost group....the Narrows Too guy had no clue but put a note in the reservation. (I asked for the Premium Ocean Front and told him to charge it to Jon W. which he said was no problem.)
So Jim please add us to the dry camp night as well.
I can see we are going to have problems in Maine. We have folks that don't speak the language and we have guys from Texas that don't know how much fun I can have with other people's coaches.
Skiffer,
Our reservations have been made, the check's in the mail, put us in for the dry camping, we're on our way.
See you in July!!
Reservations have been at Boothbay and Narrows Too Campground. Looking forward to visiting everyone and Maine.
Mr. Skiff Miles and I were talking and realize this is not an official POG Rally. It is nice of you to make arrangements for all of us and do the legwork to make this event come together. It is not your responsibility to start spending money for food and such. Let us know as we get closer to the "event " how much participation is needed to make you whole.
Finalized my reservations today. Laura and I will be joining the party assuming the 48 inches of snow in my driveway has melted by then.

Miles: There is one bright spot to all that snow. The goverment was closed down.
I have thought of Mango and the resturant business while this is going on----I guess you can freeze Jerk Chicken - or can you?
King - It was already frozen, you didn't think the yard birds were fresh did you?
Lloyd- You said you need to be in Nova Scotia around the time of the Maine Rally. At Bar Harbor, there is a high speed catameran ferry http://www.catferry.com/ that goes non stop back and forth to Nova Scotia twice a day I recall. It's around $500 one way. You could go one way and drive back one way instead of seeing the same scenery twice and although it's pricey consider the fuel costs and time savings. For passengers only it's under $100 (round trip I THINK) if you guys wanted to plan a day trip but it probably looks just like Maine except for a bunch of "Eh?" talk.
Looks like the Royal Coach Club is going to be there September 12th - 18th in case you want to intermingle. They'd probably all sign up for POG if ya'll waned to make the snowball bigger. http://www.royalecoachclub.com/rally.cfm
I just edited this after reading more of this thread I was behind on and realized everyone is going in July. Didn't think a date was set yet.
Has anyone ever tried making an annual "Mega Prevost Rally" combining all the various clubs ? Could just make it the same place and time each year to maybe increase turn out. Maybe it would be too out of control and hard to organize. I guess I should make it to our own rally first before suggesting such a thing.
Jeff,
The "Cat" formerly the "Blue Nose" has been discontinued.

We will see everyone at the Narrows Too Campground. We booked it today and will be coming down from Quebec into Maine.
Jennifer and I have booked a few extra days at Narrows Too beyond the group dates to spend a little more time exploring the park and surrounding areas. Looking forward to it!

Jim, please put us down for Owls Head. Bill Dator
Jim,
Carole made our reservations. We will be participating at all three stops. We will get to the first stop early and depart the third stop a little late. We are definately in for the one night dry camp at the transportation musuem.
We are looking forward to the Maine rally. Will and Carole have an advantage as they "Know the territory." Linda and I enjoyed their company last summer and some good lobster.
When you do come, bring a dry sense of humor. As my grandfather once said,
"You give me a piece of soft pine and a sharp knife and I can whittle you a better looking grandson than the one I got."
Just think... Lobster, beautiful views, moose, whales and a hay wagon ride through Cow Shit Corner.. It doesn't get much better than that.;)
Cow Shit Corner??? We are looking forward to the trip and didn't even know about CSC - what a bonus!
Jim,
Can you post a list of those who have signed up for the Maine rally? Thanks.
Jim,
Sherry and I are planning on attending. Please put us down for all stops. We will be making our reservations by next week. Thanks

Should we be concerned when someone wants to meet the members of this asylum? Looking forward to meeting folks that know Rick and Wendy.
They have been exposed to this abusive organization. Actually they were at the Branson Rally and are now card carrying POG's....
Joanie and I will be there.
Tad (Woody)
Jim: Carol and I have made reservations so please include us .
Great to see we'll be having a big crew!

Mmmm!!! Can't wait!!!!
Look at the top photo again. Jay says the claws look like two pelicans facing each other. Each has a funny expression. They look kind of sly. What did one pelican say to the other? I bet this group could think of some good ideas for an answer!
Deb
I have contacted Cabbage Island Clam Bakes and they will be accepting your reservations for Tuesday, July 20 for the late afternoon/evening boat. (5:00PM)
The owner, Wayne Moore is a friend of mine and they have added an evening boat to accomodate us as folks will be arriving that day.
The price per person is about $60.00 but I have heard the experience is well worth it. We get a cruise around the harbor in their boat and a New England Clam Bake including two lobsters per person.
Chicken can be substituted.
Phone 207-633-7200 for reservations.
They take cash or check only.
This will be a fun way to kick off our Maine rally and not the last time lobster will be consumed!
