West Coast Winter Mini Rally

OK everyone, as mentioned we're on for the weekend of February 12-14. You may stay a couple days before or after at the rally rate, which is 20% off of their posted rates.

You MUST call and make your own reservations! Tell them you are with the POG group (perhaps ask for Paula). You have a choice of the higher priced lots, but they are putting most of us in the standard lots. Nicer lots may be further away from each other.

Even with all those we're looking at 12 coaches (plus Al who lives in the park), and I'm expecting more. Get your reservations in ASAP, and confirm here when you've done so. We'll start formalizing plans soon.

The meeting room is available for us to pot-luck on Friday evening, and we are invited to the Valentines party on Saturday evening. I haven't looked to see if their are any shows, but perhaps we can arrange something like that, or perhaps a group dinner elsewhere?

So where are you at with the week between Xmas and New Years???

I am heading for Chula Vista...

Still undecided, John. My wife informed me that we may need to remain flexible on this because our son may be home over that week (from Army).

I was planning on at least checking out the place that Gary mentioned, somewhere near Buelton? But, really at this point nothing in concrete. I would like to get away, if possible.

Last year, Jerry and Loc came out to Disneyland from TX. I haven't heard if anyone might be planning similarly this year.

Hi Ray. I will call tomorrow and see what they have avaiable for the last two weeks of the year. I can also check with the RV park at the beach in Ventura. There is also State Beach parking along the old Hwy 101 beween la Conchita and Ventura.
Buelltin has more areas to tour however with the Winieries, Solvang, Golf, great Restaurants and such.

Count us in, we're looking forward to meeting all of you:). Thanks Ray for all your work on this.

So, are you going to join us? Only 2 days drive, no problem. Last year Jdub and Loc joined us at Disneyland over the Christmas holidays, and we had quite a few at Lake Havasu for valentines weekend (or is that presidents?)

Anyway, are you going to join us? Last Christmas Loc and Jdub made it out to Disneyland with a group from SoCal, and in February we had 21+ coaches out at Lake Havasu. It was good fun.

Yeah, I see that Ray...I would cut the map out but I can't even get the footer to show up so I can edit the post. Sorry bout that.

Don't know - would love to. At least JDUB's football team was playing out there I believe. My Sooners only made it to the Sun Bowl this year in El Paso, but the good news is I bought 50 yd line tickets for $60 apiece and the RV lot is free! Sometimes doesn't hurt to play in under the radar bowl games.

Will let you know If I can work it out.

I just spoke with the people out at LVMR. I have 17 on our list, however they only had 15 reservations.

Missing were Gary D and FlyU2There. So, if you have made reservations, you may want to call back and reconfirm, or make sure they understand you are with the POG/Prevost group. [866-897-9300]
