The guy in the next hanger has a 185. Very sweet bird and he completely tore it apart and rebuilt every piece. The panel is outstanding and with the new paint and interior, it was as nice as any of them we saw at OSH.
We only make Cessna pilots ride in the back of our V35

All kidding aside, we tried out a Malibu about 15 years ago. We had the P210 for about five years at the time and the Malibu looked appealing. It was an IFR day and despite a climb to 17,000 we couldn't get out of the crud. All the time my wife was in the rear seat and she couldn't hear the conversations.
When we got back to the airport we got the purchase price info and as we departed in our plane she asked how i liked it. I felt uncomfortable in it because on that plane it felt like I was flying a 172 with very light controls. I was used to the truck like feel of the P210. I said we would not be getting one. She was VERY happy because she said she was getting sick from the yaw in the back. She sits in the back in the 210 when we go with others and never feels the yaw, but in the Malibu it was so severe she was getting sick.
Hey Lew...Plane talk.:D
