Stuart Air Show
Had a chance to attend the VNA Air Show which is held Veterans Day weekend every year in Stuart, Florida. Real nice tribute to our armed forces.
This year, a buddy of mine helped pilot a B-25J the "Killer B" to the show.
He says hey, if ya wanna ride back, just be here Sunday afternoon as we get ready to leave for Titusville. WOW!!!
So, Janice and I had the opportunity to fly in this vintage bomber from Stuart back to the hangar in Titusville, a distance of about 100 miles as the sun set Sunday. :D

Paul & Janis, your my hero! You lucky dog, I as a pilot would pay dearly for that ride... Great pictures...

I'm jealous. That's just way too cool!

It was REALLY cool! We owe a big thanks to my friend and our pilot, Philip Godlewski and owner of the "Killer B", Tom Riley.
Tom was very gracious in explaining all the "nuances" of flight in a vintage bomber.
Watching the small flicks of flame from the engine exhaust ports as we landed after dark was also really cool. :D:D

I had the immense pleasure of riding in a B17-G once. Landed while sitting in the navigators chair, way to cool. The whole flight was a serious adrenalin rush and way to much fun. The plane was owned by the Confederate Air Force and cost me $350. What a bargain!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Paul. That is truly once in a lifetime event. Way cool.

Looks like it was very loud, my kinda fun. You could not have gotten Deb on board if you offered her a 1000 bucks.
A long time ago I road a C-130 out of 29 Palms and was invited into the cockpit. Never forget it. The cockpit was huge, coffee station, bathroom, had a tiled floor.
So you hitchhiked back to PSL:confused::eek::D

Way To Go Paul
I sure would have enjoyed that ride. Boy the sound of those engines must have been marvelous.
