The part you didn't hear!
From a very reliable source I heard this...
While Tom and Nancy were on their way back from Florida last week this happened.
After they were in Port St Lucie helping Paul with his charger set up and saying hi to Lew and
Kathy they were back on the road headed North. They had stopped at a roadside restaurant for
lunch. After finishing their meal, they left the restaurant and resumed their trip. When leaving,
Nancy unknowingly left her reading glasses on the table and she didn't miss them until they had
been driving about twenty minutes.
By then, to add to the aggravation, they had to travel quite a distance before they could find a
place to turn around, In order to return to the restaurant to retrieve her glasses. You know how it
is in a 45 foot Prevost pulling a toad.
All the way back, Tom became the classic grouchy old man, imagine that! He fussed and
complained and scolded Nancy relentlessly during the entire return drive. The more he scolded
her -- the more agitated he became. He just wouldn't let up one minute.
To her relief, they finally arrived at the restaurant. As Nancy was leaving the bus heading
toward the restaurant, to retrieve her glasses, Tom opened the drivers window and yelled, "While
you're in there, you might as well get my hat and the credit card."
Disclaimer...Harry sent this to me and I personalized it. Didn't really happen, and Tom and Nancy never forget anything or fight! :)
