Looking for air leak
The left side of my 2000 CC XL (1999 chassis) is leaking down on the left rear side. I took it to Luxury coach in Rockwall. I provided the two Norgren air valves that bolt on to the crossmember for them to install. After the installation of the valves and 17 fittings I still have the LR losing air.
Any suggestions where to go from here?
If I drive up on wooden ramps do I need to raise my tag axle?
Thanks,

Norman: Assuming that the new valve on the LR side is not leaking internally and that the new fittings on that valve are not leaking, then it is likely the fittings on the bags or the bags themselves.
Luxury Coach has a new manager and Brandon of Legacy Coach is the new owner. I would call them, explain the situation and ask them what they are going to do. Based on my experience, they will take care of you.
Keep me posted.

Ok Mark, thanks for the information. I live about 10 minutes from them in Rockwall County. I'll give them a call.

They do great work. Dodie is still working 3 days a week and has great things to say about the new manager, Todd, who was hired from Prevost Houston.

I was hoping that changing the Norgren valves and 17 fittings would fix the problem, but it didn't.

There are hundreds of leak points, best is to get under the bus with soapy water in a squirt bottle and start soaking everything.

Norman, Hopefully you located the leak. I can tell you this much. If you replaced both Norgen valves at the rear and the LR is still leaning then There are only two possibilities remaining. 1:The airline from the valve has a leak maybe from rubbing on the chassis or at the fitting on the air bag. 2: the air bag has a leak. The airbag would be my target. If you have jack stands you can inflate the rear bags as far as they will go exposing the entire bag, get under the coach and blast the entire bag with soapy water. I have also seen the threaded fitting coming out of the top of the airbag where the airline connects, get cracked. Check the tag axle bag also.
Let us know how you make out.
