On a quiet nite you can hear the Fords rust.

Hey Jim,
Plastics, carbon fiber, and aluminum, today's car last longer. But with the vintage stuff, you have to be ever vigilant. (Have magnet in hand will travel.) Bondo in a semi arid or dry climate doesn't fair well when the moisture is sucked out of it.

Jim, That Ziebart, though I used it didn't do much for me. Put it on a 76 Benz when new and had rust through in 2 years!:( :( I actually think it held in the moisture and aggravated the situation. My area is notoriously hard on keeping a rust free vehicle. (ROAD SALT:eek: )
Interesting note on the bondo I thought you westerners had it made.

Jim & Chris,

I hadn't looked at the images of your truck yet until today. It is very close to a truck I use to own that (with a cap on the back) would qualify as my first camper. I drove it from Maine to New Mexico, on to Arizona, then California, and back to Maine. It was a long ride with many stops and jobs along the way.

I'm going to dig for some images but give me some time.

Anyway that is a sweet looking truck and congratulations on your lastest
aquisition.

Jim
