Don't tell me Elgin didn't have the shocks either?

Have you tried a local truck parts supplier?

IFS? Independent front suspension?

Another dumb question. I'm noticing 2 different 45ers. One has an additional bay between the axles and the other is longer in the rear?

I would try calling Koni directly in Louisville I think it is, I don't recall the guy to talk to but give it a try and let me know what happens. If you don't get anywhere I will have one of my racing friends contact someone there and we should be able to get it done.

Out of curiosity, Jim, why are you seeking shocks here? Is Prevost out of stock?

Lately I have found Prevost is very competitive on some items and they may actually be the source. As Joe asked, did you call Elgin?

I just replaced my 40'er shocks with Koni's on the front and they did not have any in stock for the rear. I ordered the HD ones Prevost offered for the rear and they sent me Monroes at a good price. The Koni shocks look a lot heavier.
The difference in how the coach handled and did not lean was amazing. It was probably the single most improvement I made to the coach. The other thing that helped the road wander was taking up slack on the steering box. Be careful here, it can be overdone. Mine took a 1/4 turn. Don't go over 1/2 turn. Easy adjustment to do, but if your not comfortable doing it yourself, any good truck front end shop can do it.

Are you replacing original Koni shocks? I believe that since the mid 1990's they have offered a lifetime warranty, maybe you can get replacements for free.
