Air Bag Replacement Cost????

I have a 2002 H3-45. Have been quoted $6,750 to change eight full size bags and the few that are on the engine. From what I can find the bags cost about $2,000 excluding the engine bags. Does it sound legit to cost $4,700 for labor.....

Trying to give that estimate the benifit of the doubt.

They r giving themselves a certain degree of caution in case it don't turn out all perfectly air tight and retested after a reasonable amount of time. It Has to be perfect. It occurs more often than we would like. I wait at least a day before I reinstall rims and tires, weather there is something else to do or not.

That's about a 2 day job for me, not rushing. However sometimes I'm there for 2 more days gettin it perfect. Some cooperate better than others. Say it takes 10 or 12 hr to drop as little as 1/8in. Well over a week or 2 that's a full blown lean and that's a very small leak and could take time to find.

Call me if u like I'm doing some work for another guy from Arkansas next Tuesday but I'll be in Florida doing it.
