GE Profile Advantium 120 Microwave

Folks,

My microwave makes a humming sound like a car idling. It doesn't sound like a fan stalling, but I haven't taken it apart and I don't think there are any other moving parts inside. Anyone replace a fan in one of these or have any idea of what might be causing the noise? Later I'll see if I can post a video of the sound. It's intermittent, mostly occurring upon powerup after a prolonged storage. Ideas?

I would not expect the fan to come on when initially powered up. I'm pretty sure the fan only comes on after the unit reaches a set temperature, unless you have the exhaust fan on.

Could it be transformer noise? Maybe, you're just waking up the sleeping mystery heating thingies.
