Folks,

There's been some talk about what to do if you have a tire blowout and you can't get a jack underneath the bus to safely and properly lift it. We could carry with us an assortment of awkward wood cribbing to form low profile makeshift platforms, or we could carry some heavy and equally awkward to handle low profile hydraulic jacks, or we could carry one of these: http://catalog.matjack.com/category/matjack-high-pressure-air-lifting-bags

These MatJacks come in an assortment of sizes and weight bearing capacities. They're light and easy to handle, store easily, and certainly more capable and safer than haphazardly placing cribbing here and there.

To R&R my Powertech Generator sump pan, I needed a low profile jack to lift the generator. I used the MatJack 1. It's 6"x6" and 3/4" high when deflated. Inflated it will lift 1.5 tons to a height of 2 1/2 inches!

They're available in a variety of sizes up to 86 tons!
