I always assumed that Scotland's (or any other country's) RV's would be very similar to what we are accustomed to in the U.S., but most things about them are significantly different. This short video gives an overview of what it is like to RV in Scotland. Our Prevosts would be out of place in this environment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHjnjLW9g54

The roads in most European countries would not be easily navigated with our rigs. I lived in Germany for 9 years and Turkey for a year and have visited most countries. The RV parks I've seen would be closer to our tent style campgrounds that the luxury campgrounds we enjoy. I know in Germany, camping is a way to connect with the environment, hence the big difference between our parks.

There is no right way to camp. What is good for you is good for you and may or may not be preferred by others.
