Satellite Antenna

Has anyone seen the Winegard G2 Satellite Antenna in actual use. It may be used as either a roof mount or portable unit and is compatible with Direct, Dish and Bell services. It does not provide HD for Direct. It costs less than $600 and appears to be an easy install. It is 13.5" tall, and that seems to be a little less than the King Dome that came on my bus. I am not sure what the disadvantages would be to this unit?

Dale Those small in diameter tall ones don't look good on top I have a friend that put one on that had no roof airs it looked out of place IMO thanks Dan

How about this one. It receives Dish HD. Just realize the smaller the dish the poorer its performance. For me, DirecTV isn't an option. We are at impasse with the service I bought for the coach I bought. I didn't realize they sat terminal I have was no longer supported. Needless to say we didn't agree as to whether I should pay the early termination fee.

Gil, you think DirectTV is tough to deal with? Wait until you experience Dish. The UPS agent that I dropped off my Dish equipment to said "people returning Dish TV equipment was a big part of their business". I tried, twice, hoping to get HD signals without putting up a second antenna. It just was not worth it, + Dish has a very limited football program.
