Dale, why not just leave the tv and sound on ?

That would be way to simple! Many people unplug all their electronics when they leave on vacation to prevent fire hazards, lightening strikes and reduce electricity usage. The light would be an alternative during extended absences. Even with no noise, the simulation should make a burglar stop and think.

I tried one of those when I replaced the TVs you left me. I just got tired of watching the same channel and could never get the one I had loud enough.
