If you have an older model Fantastic Vent Fan or if you need to add the remote control, you may want to look at the kits they offer. Fantastic has kits to upgrade any of the older less expensive models to the top of the line units, including the latest one that has the remote control. Fantastic also provides many free parts when things quit working. www.fantasticvent.com/products/model_6600_kit/model_6600_kit.html

Dale,

One of my original (I'm assuming) Fantastic fans stuck in the opening/lift mode. Stripped the little teeth on the motor and lift arm. I called and ordered replacement parts (motor, etc.) Now it is the control panel which is no longer made. I am willing to just start new. Question: Can I simply install this up into the existing fan frame work or does the entire thing have to come out? I don't want to mess with frame, caulking, being on the roof, etc. Thank you if you can help.

Sincerely,

Doug

Nash,

It looks like it's an easy upgrade and doesn't require you to even get on the roof.

I have had GREAT success with my Fantastic Fan when it quite running. New "Halo" send to me that installs from inside so no roof work. The rain/close option added and no am thinking about the remote also. I am sure if you call them, they can walk you through it, very easy.

We have only one fantastic vent in our Bus as you know Prevost can generate a little heat on the inside just from all the electronics our vent has manual and Auto mode to shut vent if it rains, My question is they don't seem to move a ton of air is there an upgrade that moves more air ? when you only have one ceiling vent it would be nice to really pull some air through ?
