Has anyone else been getting sales solicitations from a Janie Sutherland for shoes being sold??

Not possible. I was assured the sight was secure and all of the guests were not really on the sight.

We have no one in the POG system by this name or username, whether member or visitor. It looks like it is may be coming through Facebook. Many of these nuts see where you go by tapping into Facebook then send emails and try to make it look like they are associated with a group or site you frequent. I get similar solicitations quite frequently from Craigs List.

n33d2camp, I have been getting these shoes for sale ads as regular email. I also wrote the seller a nasty note to remove my name and email from her list and why she needed so. I also told her I have contacted Jamie about this matter.

That maybe Dale, but none of the other sites we visit send us such ads.

Hi Jim,

I think it is a Facebook issue.

Debbie uses a certain email address for Facebook and has , indeed , gotten the same email solicitations. Her POG email is different and she has received nothing to that address.

Are you on the Facebook page and using the email address in question?

Guys, this is one of the many fishing schemes that are out there. They want you to think this came from the POG site, which is BS. What they have likely done is captured data from your cache that shows where you've been. With that they send you something that appears to come from a place you visit.

In a search of Facebook, I couldn't find a POG group. Here's the link they want you to click on, which I would not suggest you do. Doing so confirms they they have set the hook or worse: http://www.facebook.com/n/?groups%2F169938709726086%2Fpermalink%2F5135326020 33360%2F&mid=82175beG4f50fab3G45f9a9dG96&bcode=1.1370978449.Abm_uZvLFmQwaPym&n_m=coloradobus%40comcast.net What this link does show, without clicking on it, is that it originates on Facebook and directly targets ColoradoBus' email address.

I don't see anything that suggests they have visited the POG site. Keep in mind that, from what I can tell, only the forum section of the POG site is restricted to members.

The "Prevost Owners Group" Facebook page is a legit site. It is not really affiliated with the Prevost Owners Group Forum - other than having people who are on both sites.

When it was started a few years ago I joined it , as did many POG members. Facebook is a good venue for those who enjoy what it has to offer.I do not think everyone realizes , as I did not at the time I started posting on numerous Facebook pages , that what you say & do on Facebook is there for everyone to see and you may receive unsolicited emails.

POG is different in that what you say stays with those who are a part of the group - unless, of course , we have an Edward Snowden lurking in our group who will expose us all for what we do with our coaches.

Anyway , Dale & I do the best we can to safeguard whatever info you have put into your POG profile. I guess if the NSA has leaks we could too at some point? I have found that the DELETE KEY comes in handy when I get unsolicited emails.

I can't figure Facebook out. Yesterday I did a search for Prevost and POG under groups and got nothing. Today I did the same and the group came up. It's such a shame Google+ wasn't up before Facebook.
