Hey boys and girls, traffic is unbelievable and southbound stops about the 290 milemarker and is stop and go all the way past I-4. Jumped off and spending the night at Camp Marathon.;) Locals say it's been this way every afternoon for days and getting worse.

I95 through Carolinas and GA is similar. Best to travel after the left lane huggers have gone to sleep for the night. . . usually after 8pm!!!

Here's a tip that I've been using on the way to Tampa. I jump off I-95 at Yulee FL (mile post 373) and take FL 200 west to Callahan FL, there the route merges with US 301 south. This is good 2 AND 4 lane asphalt highway. Expect the usual speed traps in Starke and Waldo, follow US 301 to FL 326 just north of Ocala then west about one mile to I-75 (mile post 358).

And if you're travelling I-77 south like I do at Columbia SC(end of I-77) US 321 south is also a good piece of road that drops you off at Hardeeville SC, I-95 near the SC/GA border. A nice alternative route for the I-26 to I-95 traffic.

We were in that mess yesterday. Went east out of Scottsborro. Never again.

I-65 to 231 in Montgomery Al. thats the ticket. We picked up wireless internet service on a MONTHLY basis yesterday with Verizon. No contract to sign 59 bucks a month and cancle any time. Painless, added it to our excisting bill. Suprisingly fast too!

From what I have read and seen, the I-70 has been snowed in for 3 days in Colorado and parts, Truckers have been sitting idle for 3 days waiting to move east and west. Has anyof our members been caught in the mid-west?
