Very heavy storms here last night, and we have a leak where the water runs down from the top of the passengers side window right over the first bay it runs down both sides of the same post behind the passenger seat in front of the couch. The H3-45 windows are different to the XL and wondered if any H owners know if there is an easy fix? I had a glass company come and check and they said the window needed to come out and a new seal or gasket put in.. he also said he couldn't do it because the interior wall has to be disassembled in the process? Does anyone know if this is correct or not? We had all the caulking removed from the top of the bus and replaced and don't think the leak is originating from the awning above? Everything up there looks good now.
I read that the XL has some weep holes around the windows that need to be kept flushed out and wondered if the H does too but I couldn't see any.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Larry and Diane,
The H3-45, yes, indeed has a different window set up from the XL
If you look inside at your window sill, you could see few screw covers in the corian sill. Pop off the caps and unscrew the screws and a recessed portion of the corian sill should come out exposing bolts that holds the bottom of the window frame to the coach .
Check to see if the bolts are tight.
The way this works, is the H3-45 side windows of your vintage have a frame. Removing the bottom bolts will cause the window frame to swing out from the bottom. Pushing the bottom out a bit, and looking at the backside of the window frame, you will see a butyl rubber style weatherstripping similar to what you have on your car door. This is how the window frame seals. Dust and grit maybe compromising the seal incase the windowsill frame bolts were loose or the window wasn't pushed in far enough when the frame bolts were tighten. Just a gues.. Caution, tho, if you tip the window frame from the bottom out and up too high, (perpendicular to the coach side) the window frame may fall out of its top track.
Our experience is with our last coach which was a Marathon 2000.
You could possibly need a new window frame seal on the back side of the frame from Prevost.
This is just a guess, tho.

Jim and Chris,
Thanks so much for your reply, we do not have Corian sills, they are burled wood and there are no visible screws or covers, maybe the screws are under the sills, I will have a better look tomorrow... there are long vent opennings in each sill for the bus air on the passenger side only (none on driver's side due to the slides I guess)
I did notice however that on the exterior of the coach to the left side of the window is a 1/2" wide metal strip with a screw in the top and the bottom that runs the full length of the window.... wondered if that may be some sort of access panel?
If it ever stops pouring here I can check out that outside panel.
Anymore thoughts out there?
Thanks so much.
