When storing coach in " bus barn" etc. plugged in to shore power for any length of time, how many of you shut down breaker to air compressor and water pump? I haven't for the two and a half years I've owned my coach but was told , recently, I should do this. Any strong feelings on the subject?

Someday it will prove to be a wise precaution. An air leak with resulting continuous run and burned out compressor is one problem, but a water leak, tank emptying to the interior, and a burned out pump is a BIG headache.

If you are leaving the coach without anyone around, I would turn them off. The water pump will cycle on and off with just the smallest leak. Same with the air compressor.
Also, the water pump will cycle if the ice machine is left on. From the osmosis system, it will keep demanding water.

I certainly agree. If we are in the bus I leave the compressor on but the pump switch is always turned off when we leave. I have a couple horror stories in our past that got us into that routine.

I do the same, pump and Aux off when in the barn.
