The last time I checked, there were about 500 members. Only about two dozen ever post on a semi regular basis. Of those people, life intervenes and for whatever reason they move on. Its not about what POG used to be but more what the sites original idea and goals were. ie; to bring Prevost enthusiasts together for information and just as important to meet and enjoy each others company.
Ultimately, its up to our membership as a group to make POG whatever its is now and what it will be in the future.
There are a lot of great people in POG who spend a lot of time behind the scenes doing things in preparing for Rally's , mini rally's etc.
Its what makes this group so great, people just pitch in.
The dynamic of the group may change but POG lives.

For what it's worth - I'm here and monitor POG regularly, but have been more busy than usual for the past few months with work and other projects leaving litlle or no time to post. Since joining, I've noticed that there is an "ebb and flow" to activity levels over time. As the "travel season" approaches, I'll bet that there will be an increase in posting activiity!

I have just been up to my eyeballs. Only checking in once a week or so, much less writing.

Well I know for a fact that Pete & Roger have been very busy counting their money! Roger has one of those money counting machines like the banks have - it runs 24 hours a day!

Jim Keller is busy counting his tools. Jim also works as an RV park consultant.

DanS is busy running his casino. Dan broke the bank the other night and the owners of the casino agreed to give him the casino if he would stop winning so much money!

Ed & Sandy are probably in Aruba at their condo. (tough life)

Gary S is getting a hair cut!

JDUB is drilling for oil.

MM is busy opening his 90th restaurant.

Jon is sweeping his driveway!

Truk is delivering his 1 millionth AGM battery.

Paul is fixing something somewhere: house, Liberty, or site #25 at PSL.

Loc is selling insurance!

Ken & Janet Z are traveling around the country enjoying their bus.

And Jeff Bayley is somewhere in South America DRY CAMPING!

P.S. Just for grins, I checked the number of people on line; 29 members and 40 guests!

I agree with what Gary said. I have watched the activity on the POG site over the years, and it does vary greatly with the seasons. You will see the activity pick up during the warmer months, and slack off in the cooler months.
I am fairly certain that most are monitoring the site, and can offer help if needed. Just post, participate, and I think folks will respond accordingly.
I personally check the site morning, noon, and night, and enjoy it and the lasting friends we have made over the years. We always attend the rallies when we can, and still try to maintain our own personal lifestyle with friends and family.
It is a great group of people, a great lifestyle, and it will only degrade it's self if we allow it to happen..... so get busy, post, participate, and enjoy!

Persepective and insight are nice but answers to the nuts and bolts stuff is a major part of this terrific group too. We all have experience and technical info to share. Each of us has had his/her own "learning experience" and our collective wisdom is substantial. One of the things that makes us special is our interest in the mechanics of our amazing machines. We can all be proud of our technical awareness and the friendships that started with helping each other out of a jam. Seminars at Las Vegas? You bet!
