Well think I will ride up to Tampa tomorrow and look at the new offerings by the various companys. Never been to the Tampa show and am looking forward to it. It will be interesting to see how many convertors are represented. Also want to look at the new foretravel, looks like they are trying to get in the bus market.

Gary, while in Nacogdoches, Tx this past Sept went through the Foretravel Facility....pretty nice...they are really starting to look much like a Prevost. In fact they are using many of the same parts as Prevost as I was able to pickup some items there that I needed even for my vintage coach

Rodger saw the Foretravel H-45 at the Tampa show today nice coach, they had a Nimbus and a Phenix also, Liberty had 6 coaches, Millennium 4coaches, Featherlite by Amadas 2 coaches, Marathon 2 older Coaches, I did not see Parliment. Prevost had the first X3 shell on display said it was going to Liberty, Said the price to any body was 515000 as it set. Also 1 Newell.

I also wanted to say that the 2013 Liberty had a paint job that would blow you away, not done by Prevost but by a gentlemen and I can't call his name and each coach is signed by the artist that painted it, and last but not least! Paint price 100,000.

Dean is an artist who has developed very unusual methods of painting and paint removal, the name of his company is TAOD which means The Art Of Design, his work is ultra slick and many elements of his design are very suttle, you must study his work to find all the details that are hidden.

Is the $100,000 price tag for a NEW paint job or re-painting an older bus?

When Dean re-paints a coach, does he remove ALL of the old paint down to the fiberglass or s.s.?

I would love to see one of his paint jobs in person.

Tuga I think you should schedule one of his paint jobs so we can see what they look like! If you would feel more comfortable knowing the outcome, you can have my bus painted. Use that credit card!

Did you guys ever notice: Pete is always trying to get me to spend money!

It's sad when the paint job costs more than the coach is worth!!!!

In this market, I don't think I could sell my Newell for $200K! That's why I'm keeping it.

Tuga- ask Coach Worx for a quote - they gave me a very good estimate.

I understand that Liberty's cost from Prevost for paint was around 40K and TAODs additional cost is around 50K,if you see his paint I think that most customers would agree that it is a no brainer that Deans product is worth that and more.

I saw the Foretravel H-45 at the Tampa show. If I passed it going the other way on the interstate, it would be called a Prevost. It is probably the best other mfg. Prevost look alike I've seen.
The pictures above show a little of the Liberty display which was over the top, with a running water feature. Once inside there carpet area seating was available to relax and admire the buses.
Liberty did a very nice presentation of there product to prospective buyers.

i have not seen any photos of the engine compartments on the Prevosts. I'm assuming they are all Volvo now.

Hello Tuga, We met at the Austin rally I have the blue and white 06 Royale. The paint on my coach is from TAOD, I like his work ,but I am a little bias…The invoices for his work in 2005 were around 40K and the coach had the pearl white base from Prevost.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the response, I remember meeting you and admiring your bus. Blue is one of my favorite exterior colors. Your Royale is awesome; I really like the pearl white base with the blue accents.

Hey Rob, yes oh yes, we really love your bus' paint job. And I am biased to blue, too. I had to photograph your coach on my phone just to have it. My photo tho, has your bay doors open. Never got a chance to get one when they were closed. Our next bus will be blue.:D
