Wishing everyone a great New Year and safe travels in 2012, where is every body going to be when the much talked about "end of the world as we know it" 12-21-2012 syzygy is supposed to happen. Although I believe they are soothsayers.

Happy 2012, too!! We are making Airstream plans for 2013. 12-21-2012, several things are occurring. The Mayan Calender begins anew and the current cycle ends. On an island off the coast of Peru where the last Mayan King built a temple for his ressurection on the 12-21-12, is the only spot in the northern hemisphere where a total solar eclipse will be seen.

Seriously a Mayan King built a temple on an island where the only solar eclipse will be in 2012, those people continue to amaze me. I guess without the distraction of the modern day world they had plenty of time to think this stuff out.

Correct. The Mayans and Inca were amazing. this island is the only location in the northern hemisphere to see this eslipse. At this time, Mayan lore says, this King will ressurrect and the new calender begins. Hollywood has blown it all out of proportion.
