Need source for reasonably priced motor for DBW2020 Webasto.

JW said he got one for about $80.00.

Stopped at Beaudry in Tucson today - they want $247.00

Try Vehicle Systems in Denver, CO 800 685-4298 (Dan Clark x 311)

I don't know if the prices will be lower, but it's another place to compare.

Good luck!:)

As an added question to the issue, (no creep here). Is a new motor likely to be much quieter than an old though still functioning motor? My Webasto for instance is pretty noisy due to the burner but the motor runs it a good second. Would think that a roof exhaust would be a huge improvement also.

Brian:

My Aqua Hot exhausts thru the roof; as does my generator, actually thru the same exhaust pipe. It is very quiet. On my previous coach the Aqua Hot exhaust was under the coach and it sounded like a jet airplane when it started up. So yes, you can reduce the noise level by exhausting it thru the roof!;)

Sorry, I couldn't advise you whether a new motor will be quieter than your existing one.

JDUB,

I know you're in some remote Far Eastern country learning new belly dancing techniques, but you need to jump in here. Is this around the price you paid for your blower motor?

on 11/28 Jerry said in a private message :

"I got mine from Vehicle Systems, but I don't think it was $80. I think Mike thinks it was $80, but I think it was more."
