Thanks for the kind words. There's nothing like a fishing trip to bond with a friend. My grandson, BJ was kind enough to take us out in his boat, and the good Lord blessed us with a few fish and some beautiful weather.

This time of year is a transitional period for red fish; they are moving into the inland waters in preparation for the first cold front of the year. For this reason, we really didn't catch our limit of redfish (5 fish/man). But we sure had a good time.

Karen enjoyed cooking for Ken & Janet, and Ken learned about cajun cooking; it was a win-win.
