Ease of oil change ???

I am curious if anyones installed an electric oil change system and remotely mounted the oil filters in a place in the engine compartment thats easy to get to to change them also...This I understand is common practice in the Marine Industry...

I had such a system in my last boat for removing the old oil. The filter locations did not change. While it was ok, I wouldn't want to have it on my bus. In the boat, the engine room is a much more friendly environment for a system like this to exist. On the bus it would be exposed to the elements more, and if you did remote mount the filters, having to have many extra feet of pressurized oil line could be a problem. Also, there are not that many better places to mount all the things you would need.

My opinion, FWIW, is to leave it alone and save the expense and possible problems.
