Segway Tour of Downtown Austin - Sign Up

We are arranging for a guided Segway tour of downtown Austin, including the Capitol and Lady Bird Lake. Following are details:


Wed, Oct 5th, 9 AM
~ 2-1/2 hour tour
~ $55 per person
refreshment stop during tour (ice cream!)


I know several folks who have done this and thoroughly enjoyed it. SegCity website is http://www.segcity.com/austin/ where you may find quite a bit of information about this activity.

Please sign up in this thread if you are interested so I may reserve the appropriate number of machines. Final pricing will be contingent upon the total sign up, but should be around $55.

Lee and I would like to sign up.

We rode these things in Washington DC. It was great fun. It was easier for Lee to learn than me. She jumped up on the thing and was steady. I stepped on the thing and it kicked out and hit the wall. Then I learned to let the Seaway do the work and all was well.

It appears that several of us would like to take the Segway tour and shoot Sporting Clays. Since my wife would love for me to escort her on the Segways then hopefully we can schedule a Sporting Clays outing in the afternoon. Maybe this will work for others wanting to shoot also. Ok folks,

SegCity is at 17th and Lavaca in downtown Austin. You may plug that into your GPS or I left some maps in a manilla folder on the drinks table in the clubhouse.

I would leave no later than 8:45 to allow for parking.
