Found the following on the FMCA web page. Sounds like it could be a good deal if our tire sizes included.

Follow these instructions to locate a Michelin RV tire dealer and claim your exclusive FMCA-member tire discount.
Get Started
1. Determine the tire size and tread design that you require.
2. Find your nearest Michelin RV tire dealer at www.michelinrvtires.com by entering your zip/postal code in the dealer locator. The dealers will be listed in the order closest to your location. Select the dealer that best suits your tire needs.

Call the Dealer

1. Call the dealer and check for availability of the specific size and tread design that you require. All tire sizes may not be included in this discount program.

2. Tell the dealer you will be purchasing your tires through Family Motor Coach Association’s ADVANTAGE ACCOUNT. FMCA's Michelin Advantage Account number is 1326516. You will need to provide this number to the dealer.

3. The dealer should give you an ESTIMATE on the price of the tires when you make your first call to them.
The ACTUAL discounted tire price will be shown on the invoice that you receive from FMCA a few days after your tires have been installed. Invoices will be sent out Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time.

4. Schedule an appointment with the dealer and review your order to ensure accuracy.
Example: 8-Michelin 295/80R22.5 XZA2 Energy Load Range J (18Ply).

5. Review the service that is needed. Example: Balance New Valve Stems.

At the Dealer: Evaluate the coach, wheels

Once you have arrived at the dealer for service, walk around the coach with the service writer or salesman. Note any existing damage to the coach and/or wheels. This will protect everyone.

Complete the Purchase with credit card and P.O. number

1. After the work is finished, you will need a VISA, MasterCard or American Express credit card to complete the transaction at the servicing dealership.
Your credit card will be billed by Michelin, so do not be surprised if you get an invoice from the dealer with a zero balance or an inflated balance. Because of a contract between FMCA and Michelin North America, the dealer is unable to give you an invoice with an accurate price.

Your credit card will be billed the discounted price, not the inflated price.

2. In addition to your credit card payment information, you will be asked for a P.O. number. Your P.O. number is your FMCA member number and membership expiration date. This will ensure that you receive your invoice from FMCA.

3. Ask the dealer to enter your e-mail address in the Comments field. This provides a method of delivery of your invoice from FMCA.

You should receive your invoice within seven business days from the date of purchase. The transaction is now complete. Enjoy your tires!

Better check it out yourself, this came up before and the tire discount was actually for United Motorcoach Association, Not FMCA. United Motorcoach Association is the Commercial Bus folks.

The program is alive and real.

Got a written quote for (8) 315/80R 22.5 XZA2 tires including taxes, valve stems, mounting and balancing for just under $5700.

See FMCA http://www.fmca.com/index.php for details

Thats an incredible deal - After shopping extensively for 8 - 315's, the best price I got in the Tampa area was .....$7912.05....out the door. Maybe 30 years of FMCA membership is finally going to pay off!

Here's a CC Forum guy who used the FMCA program and his tire price:

Here is the all in cost per unit - Tire $553.00, FET $52.83, State sales tax
$51.31, mounting $25.00, balancing $45.00 and "shop supplies" $4.25. Total -
$731.39

I think he got hosed on the mounting & balancing, but the 315's were 553.00 before taxes and labor.

I just checked with Beasley Tire here in Houston. They are one of the largest Michilen dealers around and I have purchased 5 sets of tires from them. Their statement is that the 315 80R 225 XZA2 is a great tire and their cost on the tire from Michelin is $665 before they mark it up. On the FMCA program, their cost for 8 tires including the Fed tax and an 8% state sales tax , balanced, mounted and ready to go is $705 per tire or $5640 for the set. They said the FMCA deal is real and the price is great.

Does anyone know, can less than a full set be purchased at the same deal?
