My rear air conditioner is dead. I need a new 11,500 BTU unit. Anyone know of a good deal on a Dometic Duo Therm 11,500 cooling only unit? Thanks

I would suggest to you that a 13,500 to 15,000 BTU will probably fit the same slot. I do not know if the increased blowing power would be a sound issue but I replaced all three of my '87 Newell's a/c's with 15,000 BTU's. It may be a good time to consider replacing your unit with a heat pump as well. I am glad I went to the heat pump. Perhaps others have an opinion on this.

I was wrong, I called Dometic and the exact replacement is a 13,500 BTU unit. Paid $642.00 plus Indiana sales tax because I picked up a new unit in Elkhart at RV Surplus to save the rather large frieght bill. Thanks!
