Folks,
Does Prevost use soldered copper/brass radiator cores in their Series 60 powered coaches? The reason I ask is I recently replaced my core with copper/brass technology and topped off with POWER COOL Plus e/l coolant (extended life OAT). I've learned that POWER COOL is actually made by Old World which they market as their 'Final Charge'. A question recently came up on WOG as to whether organic acid technology (OAT) extended life coolants cause corrosion of the solder used in copper/brass radiators. I got off the phone with Old World and they assure me that the inhibitors in Final Charge provide corrosion protection. In any case, I'm curious as to what Prevost's shipping in terms of radiator core technology and coolant technology.
