Fly-over at Lake Texoma

While enjoying a couple of days( Fri,Sat,Sun) on Lake Texoma we were parked at Highport Marina. On Saturday night they were several groups of planes flying in formation groups of 7 and 8 over the marina. Any POG members ?
Just wanted to pass along that we noticed and were very impressed with the flying.

The Bonanzas To Oshkosh group, B2OSH, do two of their formation flying clinics out of Sherman, just south of Lake Texoma, so I would assume it was them. We frequently ended up over the lake when I was training for the flight and an 8 ship group is pretty common with the more advanced pilots.

They also use that flight to qualify for their FFI card which allows them to fly in wavered air space, like an airshow, and you have to fly in a big group to do that.

Jerry, that all fits with what we saw. When we heard all the noise it got everyone up to see what was going on. Pretty neat stuff.
