A friend of mine just bough a bank repro 40' Royal bus. I am working on him to join POG.
For now we were wondering about the Royal conversion. Probably out of business, where were they located and are there any manuals availiable? Thanks!

A good place to start is :

We have a fair number of Royale owners in POG that can help answer a lot of questions.

It is a fine conversion with tech and mechanical support provided by some ex Royal employees primarily out of Indiana. The cabinetry work is excellent and the general workmanship seems to be very well done.

Terry,

I have become up close & personal with mine in the last month and they were done pretty well. The Royale owner documentation is a joke, but thanks to John Klopp, I have a copy of the basics for my records. Get your friend to join POG, there's lots of support here and he can contact me anytime.

Absolutely not Ms. Sandy, Monaco must have spent all their time on plastic manuals and forgot about the bus line. If you ever saw an owners manual from say Marathon or Liberty for the same 97 vintage, you would know what I mean. Even Royale Phoenix acknowledges the documentation has a lot to be desired. I'm surprised someone hasn't come up with a nice manual for the Royale owners.

Tom,
My '03 Royale has a 2 inch spiral bound manual so at some point in time Monaco decided to create good documentation. Maybe thats what broke the bank?

That's it Denny, your manual put them over the edge!:p
